Principal's Message
Dear Glenn Westlake Families,
I hope this message finds you well and enjoying a restful and rejuvenating summer. As we prepare to open our doors for the 2025–2026 school year, I’m filled with excitement and anticipation for all the possibilities that lie ahead.
This year marks the second year that our building leadership team will be working together, and I am proud of the strong foundation we’ve built and the continued collaboration that drives our shared vision for student success. Our work together last year laid the groundwork for meaningful progress, and we are eager to build on that momentum as we move forward.
We are also proud to be entering the second year of two intervention programs: our enhanced math intervention program, which continues to provide targeted support to help all students strengthen their mathematical understanding and confidence as well as our executive functioning course, which supports students with organization and time management skills among others. In addition to this, we are also introducing a new writing intervention initiative designed to support students in developing clear, effective communication skills—an essential foundation for lifelong learning.
Another highlight of the new year is the opportunity to welcome several new staff members to the Glenn Westlake family. Each brings unique experiences, talents, and passion to our school, and we are excited for the positive impact they will have on our students and school community.
At Glenn Westlake, we believe that strong relationships and open lines of communication between school and home are essential to student success. We are committed to maintaining transparent, consistent communication and working in partnership with our families to ensure each child feels valued, supported, and challenged.
Our mission remains clear: to serve our community by creating a welcoming, engaging environment that encourages every student to reach their full potential—academically, socially, and physically. We are here to support, inspire, and guide your child throughout their middle school journey, and we are honored to be part of this important chapter in their growth.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Here's to an outstanding school year ahead!
Take care and we look forward to seeing your students soon.
